Politicians at Scantrol to discuss innovation
Representatives from the conservative political party Høyre have visited Scantrol and Scantrol Deep Vision to learn more about innovative companies in Norway.
Parliament representative Peter Christian Frølich and Henning Warloe from the City Council visited the companies to learn more about the development of innovative products and how the government can spur more innovation and make working conditions easier for entrepreneurs.
Scantrol Deep Vision won the Innovation Award at Nor-Fishing earlier this year for their underwater camera system for fish sampling and sorting in the trawl.
– It’s reassuring to know that the national government is taking innovation seriously and the discussions about how national initiatives can support the development of new technology and companies were especially interesting, says marketing coordinator at Scantrol Deep Vision, Hege Hammersland-White.
